Jemez Fine Art Gallery
"Something of the Soul," November 4 - 10, 2016
The Jemez Fine Art Gallery presents Something of the Soul,
an exhibition displaying the paintings of the Jemez Painting Workshop members:
Louise Bradley, Susanna Cooper, Susan Dollenger, Jenny Morgan, and Elise Peixotto.
The exhibit will open November 4th and run through November 10th.
This group of artists grew from the Paint Your Vision workshops,
and developed into a weekly painting session under the direction of Betsie Miller-Kusz.
Something of the Soul includes work from the past year, as the painters have found new
imagery and developed the techniques to make these images visible. The title refers to the depth
of imagination present in these paintings, continuing the exhibitions of the previous two years.
For information about Paint Your Vision workshops, contact Geraldine Kerr at (575) 834-7918.
There will be a reception for the artists Saturday November 5th from 1 - 4 p.m.
at the Jemez Fine Art Gallery. The public is cordially invited.
