Troy Meek potter, was born and raised in Hawaii.
He feels the ocean and beauty of the Islands have always influenced his creative work.
Troy now lives in Jemez Springs, NM, and currently teaches art at Walatowa Charter High School.
He has taught art privately at San Jose Museum (California), ceramics at Juniata College in Pennsylvania
(1996-1997) and various other venues.
While in California, his mixed media sculpture won awards and recognition. In 2015 he was one of 12 national potters shown at Raku Currents (Missouri) with his award-winning raku.
