Ruth Marcanti is a versatile artist who works in oils,
watercolors, pastels, and even clay. Her choice of subject includes landscapes and animals.
A member of the Plein Aire Painters of New Mexico, Ruth enjoys the challenge of painting outdoors in the changing light.
The artist also is proficient in Japanese Brush Painting and occasionally shows these works on rice paper,
canvas, and pottery in the gallery.
